Taiyaki (nothing like Japanese Taiyaki though)
It was filled with Nutella of course! 2/10 for Spencer 6/10 for Amy
Sausage on a Stick
We got this right at 11:52pm when the guy was closing up. He gave us a second free small one for "the lady to have her own." Half of them were spicy, go figure, everything in Korea is spicy. 4/10
Chicken on a Stick
There are a lot of "on a stick" things in Myeongdong, but these ones you can brush on the sauce of your choice to add spiciness. They have options all the way up to "Atomic Bomb." Brian and Diamond keep trying to convince me to "just try it." Yeah right, I ain't stupid! 7/10
Pizza Cone
I was soooooo excited for this when I first saw it, as may be apparent by the look on my face, but it was wildly disappointing. There was some cheese in there, but also corn and who knows what else. It ended up being just okay. 6/10
Egg Bun
The first thing we tried from the street! It was soo good! I think they use almond something, but basically it is just an egg on a sweet bread-type bun! It is sooo good! 9/10
Ice Cream Waffle
This is absolutely delicious! Put two of our favorite things together and you've got a match! Plus it was a super hot day. 11/10
Corn Dog Stick
Just a plain corn dog. With CHEESE in the middle!!!! I'll take two please! 8/10
Cheese on a Stick
This is what we are all about! They alternate between fried cheese and topokki, which is kind of like mochi(super sticky rice ball), but shaped like penne. We will never not love cheese. 14/10
Hotteok
This is like a cinnamon-almond pancake! Really good. Little bit of sweet, but not too much! 8/10
Not Spicy Chicken Bowl
It literally says, "Not Spicy Chicken" on the sign. Finally something that is not spicy! Of course we had to get it! It was really good and has some of those topokki things in there. I am pretty sure this was our first introduction to topokki. But the fried chicken definitely makes the top list. 9/10
32cm Ice Cream Cones
These are heaven everyday we get them. It is just so hot here that if we happen to be nearby, we are definitely getting one! They have chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, mango, blueberry, and also some coffee/green tea nastiness. And at just 2,000 won ($1.50?) it's hard to pass up. 10/10
Chicken Kebap
I saw Diamond get one of these once and had to have it! It's not Korean, but it tastes delicious! If it could only be a little bigger! 8/10 because of the size
Watermelon Juice
This is a thing here. Who knew that blending up watermelon would be one of the best things around? They also do it with the oddest fruit I've never thought to make juice of. Kiwi, Strawberry, Watermelon, other Melon. 8/10
As we will be continuing to go back for more street food, we'll make another post with some more pics at a later date!
