Shooting On My Birthday!

So now it's time for my birthday shenanigans! So I got the present I have always wanted: to book a big job! I booked a prestigious golf client, Jack Niklaus! I have no clue who they are, but they are the big client here! Because of that, we started my birthday party on Sunday with the Simons, a fondue party! We invited a couple other friends from the ward, Jimmy Shaha(from the branch presidency) and Caleb Stott(a way fun dentist that talks about the bachelorette with us)!

The Simons know how much I love cheese so Jessica made the best fondue I have ever had! Granted, it is pretty much the only fondue I have had, but it was delicious! We started with the cheese fondue, one cheddar based one and one gouda based one! They were so good! Then we played games and ended with chocolate fondue with some cake and ice cream! We played Code Names, and Diamond and Caleb had this weird mind-meld going on. So picture this, the board has the words, file and sink and Caleb's clue was "sand 1." What would you pick? Well everyone is thinking "file" because sanding is like filing. Out of nowhere, Diamond, who had been playing on his phone, just reaches out and says, "I got you guys, you don't even know what's going on?" and touches "sand" and everyone is like, "NOOOOOOOO WHAT ARE YOU DOING??????" ..... The word was sand and he got it right.... Are you kidding? And then, it's Diamond's turn, and his clue is "Confederate 2" and everyone picked "revolution" for the first one, easy. But then Caleb goes, "I think the other one is Moscow." His reasoning was, if the world was America...Russia would definitely be the south! Of course, no one thinks that's it, but since Caleb and Diamond were on one wavelength all night he went for it and was spot on. We all know now that to Diamond, Moscow relates to Confederate. It was funny, but also maybe a "you had to be there moment."

So that was Sunday, then on Monday, I had a casting, but afterward my agency took us and the other models out to dinner for my birthday! We went to a fried chicken place! It was really good! We had been there before toward the beginning of our trip when they took us out. Apparently it is James' go-to restaurant. It is good, but they basically fry and give you a whole chicken on the plate. It was funny because we ate two chickens and James asked us if we wanted more, all of us said, "No we are full.." but he just turns to the waiter and says, "Chikin juseyo!" (More chicken!) It was a fun night!

Then for my actual birthday on Tuesday, I had to wake up super early to get to the cars where we took a 1.5-2 hour drive out to the country-side where we shot for the golf stuff at an Equestrian Park! It was so nice! Really fancy stuff everywhere. I shot with a Ferrari and some horses! But it was sooo hot and I was shooting winter clothes in the blazing heat! It really doesn't bother me, we all know how I like the heat! Here's some pictures of the day! It was lots of fun!

And that's my birthday!
